Die ersten Arbeiten an dieser Seite beginnen. Wir überlegen fast täglich, wie unsere Reisziele aussehen könnten. Wir müssen ebenfalls daran denken, dass wir erst im Juli los fahren. Schaffen wir
da die angedachte Route, die uns von Hamburg über Istanbul, Georgien, bis Kyrgigistan und dann nach Pakistan und Nepal führen soll, bevor es zu kalt wird? Es müssen Klimauntersuchungen gemacht
und Reiseseiten anderer Motorradfahrer erkundet werden.

Start working on this page. We think almost every day what our destinations might look like. We also have to remember that we can not go until July. Would it be possible to make the
proposed route, which will lead us from Hamburg via Istanbul, Georgia, to Kyrgyzstan and then to Pakistan and Nepal before it gets too cold. It is necessary to carry out climate tests and to
explore the travels of other motorcyclists.
Ausserdem überlegen wir massiv, wie viele Kilometer in einem Jahr sinnvoll und machbar sind. Wir wollen das ganze ja geniessen und nicht einem rasanten Speedtourismus erliegen. Wenn ich mir
andere Reiseberichte ansehe, sollten wir uns ein Maximum von 200 Kilometern pro Tag setzen. Einige reine Urlaubs- und Erholungstage müssen natürlich auch drin sein. Eigentlich ist nach dem ersten
großen Etappenziel (z.Zt. Bangkok) die Überfahrt der Motorräder nach Costa Rica angedacht. Ist das realisierbar? Geht das mit dem Flugzeug und was mag es kosten?
Nicht das wir uns falsch verstehen, wir wollen natürlich nicht jeden Tag und jeden Kilometer durchplanen, aber es gibt doch eine ganze Menge an Infos und Vorbereitungen, die einem so ein Projekt
verschönern können, ohne das Abenteuer zu beschneiden.
Leider müssen wir auch jetzt schon daran denken, ob so eine Tour, aufgrund der politischen Lage, in zwei Jahren überhaupt machbar sein wird. Die USA haben einen neuen Präsidenten, das könnte
Auswirkungen auf die IRAN Durchfahrt haben, in China & Myanmar (glaube ich) benötigt man einen lokalen Guide für die Motorradtouren. Thailand hat diese Praxis jetzt auch eingeführt. Das
kostet natürlich alles Unsummen. In Pakistan/Indien kann man auch nicht gerade von einer sicheren Lage sprechen, besonders wenn ich an die Region um Kashmir denke.
Aktuelle Informationen zur Sicherheit einer Reiseroute findet ihr übrigens bei International SOS. Die Organisation stellt eine Travel Risk Map (Reise Risiko
Landkarte) zur Verfügung, auf der in unterschiedlichen Sicherheitstufen die jeweiligen Reiserisiken dargestellt werden. Es werden Informationen zur Sicherheit im Land, zur medizinischen
Versorgung und zum Zustand der Strassen gegeben. Neben der Landkarte von 2015 wird eine aktuelle Karte zum Download angeboten.

Wie wird es wohl im Juli 2019 aussehen. Schade, dass wir uns im 21. Jahrhundert mit diesen Fragen beschäftigen müssen!

In addition, we consider massively how many kilometers in a year are reasonable and feasible. We want to enjoy the whole thing and not succumb to a fast speed tourism. If I look at other travel reports we should set a maximum of 200 kilometers per day. Some pure holiday and relaxation days must also be in it. Does it go by plane and what does it cost?
Not that we understand each other wrongly, we do not want to go through every day and every kilometer, but there is a lot of information and preparations that can beautify such a project without curtailing the adventure.
Unfortunately, we must also consider whether such a tour, due to the political situation, will be possible in two years at all. The US have a new president and that could affect the IRAN passage,
In China & Myanmar (I think) you need a local guide for motorcycling. Thailand has now also introduced this practice. That costs so uch money. In Pakistan/India, you can`t speak
of a secure situation, especially when I think of Kashmir.

How will it be in July 2019? What a pity that we have to deal with these questions in the 21th century!
